Summary
Christian is a Research Postgraduate within the Department of Aeronautics working on "Scale-resolving simulations of atmosphere/wind farm interactions" in the Turbulence Simulation Group. He has been awarded a studentship within the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet Doctoral Training Programme funded by NERC and based at the Grantham Institute. The project has been defined as a CASE PhD studentship with SSE Renewables as an industrial partner with the aim of bridging the gap between academia and the industry.
Christian holds a BEng in Aerospace Vehicle Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and an MSc in Advanced Computational Methods for Aeronautics, Flow Management and Fluid-Structure Interaction from Imperial College London. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked at Imperial College London as a Software Engineer for Nektar and as a Research Assistant in the Department of Aeronautics.
